# EVA PRO - Install and Update EVA App

## How to Install and Update EVA App

Please find step by step guide on how to Update the EVA App on the EVA Pro device.

**Note:** The EVA App is updated automatically during device startup. You can verify your installed App version by navigating to “[About](https://kb.mobileodt.com/eva-app-about?hsLang=en)” in the App.  
If your device wasn't updated automatically, or if it is a newly delivered device, it is recommended to update manually to ensure you have the latest features and improvements.

### Update EVA App directly from the System Updater:

The EVA Pro device can be updated directly through the system Updater:

- Turn on the EVA Pro device
- Connect the EVA Pro device to a [WiFi](https://kb.mobileodt.com/eva-pro-wifi-connection?hsLang=en)
- Tap on **Apps

- Tap on **System Updater**

- **System Updater** page is open

- Tap on **CHECK FOR UPDATES**
- If a new update is available **APPLY** button will be active.
- Tap on **APPLY.** Wait for update to complete.
- Restart the EVA Pro device, if requested at the end of the update.
